These Terms explain the rules for https://worldwide-dc.com/ (the "Website"), its associated Discord community, bots, and services (the "Platform"). Worldwide serves users in multiple countries. These Terms do not replace applicable law, mandatory consumer rights, or Discord and payment-provider rules.

The Platform is operated by Worldwide, an unincorporated, volunteer-run online community ("Platform Owner," "we," "us," "our"). Worldwide is not a registered company; it is a community project run collectively by its volunteer administrators.

Use of the Platform is governed by these Terms and the applicable purchase and refund policies. Please review them before accepting. Purchases are subject to the description, quantity, price, fees, duration, and restrictions shown for that purchase.

For these Terms, "you" means the person using the Platform.

We publish the current policy update date on our legal pages. When the policy version changes, the Website asks you to review and accept it again before continuing beyond the pages available for review. Material changes will be explained on the Platform. Changes will not remove mandatory rights or automatically erase obligations relating to earlier purchases.

• You must meet Discord’s minimum age and any higher age required by applicable law. If you cannot legally enter a purchase contract yourself, obtain the authorization of your parent or legal guardian and the payment account holder before purchasing.
• Provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for your own activity; report suspected compromise promptly.
• Use the Platform in accordance with applicable law, Discord’s rules, these Terms, and the published community rules. Do not use it to arrange unlawful gambling, fraud, or prohibited real-world transactions.
• Purchases of currency, items, roles, or access are purchases even when they support the community. Optional tips are separate support payments; they provide no additional item or benefit unless one is expressly described. Do not assume that a payment is a charitable donation or tax-deductible.
• Payment options and fees are shown at checkout. PayPal handles supported international payments, and supported Indian payments use UPI through the providers identified at checkout. Team members may administer these channels on Worldwide’s behalf; using different collectors does not remove our obligation to deliver the purchase or handle valid refund requests. Your payment provider’s terms also apply.
• Platform content belongs to Worldwide, its contributors, or the relevant rights holders. Use of the Platform does not transfer those intellectual property rights to you.
• We may restrict access for documented breaches of these Terms or community rules, fraud, security reasons, or legal requirements. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Restrictions do not remove mandatory rights relating to paid purchases.
• Third-party websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Worldwide is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

Cookies and Orbit are virtual currencies used for Worldwide game and community features. Cookies can be earned or purchased; Orbit can be purchased or obtained through the supported cookie conversion. Permitted in-game transfers and conversions follow the current published rules and limits. Purchases provide the described currency or feature, not a deposit, investment, or promise of financial returns.

Worldwide does not redeem Cookies or Orbit for cash, cryptocurrency, Nitro, gift cards, merchandise, or other goods or services with external monetary value, and does not provide currency buyback. A currency purchase price does not create a cash-out entitlement. Refunds and mandatory purchase remedies are separate from redemption and remain governed by the refund policy and applicable law. Any outstanding gift request accepted before redemption was removed will be handled according to its original terms and applicable mandatory rights.

Do not buy, sell, broker, or exchange balances, items, or accounts for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, subscriptions, goods, or other benefits having external monetary value. Do not arrange side payments or use another member as an intermediary. Ordinary in-game transfers permitted by the published rules remain available. Report suspected prohibited trading through our grievance contact; we may investigate and restrict transactions under the community rules.

Some games use chance and can reduce your cookie balance. Review the current game rules, odds, payouts, applicable modifiers, and limits before playing. Buying currency guarantees delivery of the described purchase, not a winning outcome or protection from ordinary game losses.

Balances can also be spent, taxed, or affected by robbery and other published economy mechanics. Orbit purchase prices and cookie conversion values can change with the published economy rules and supply; they are not a fixed cash exchange rate or a promise of appreciation. Check the quoted cost before confirming a conversion or purchase.

Feature availability and your eligibility remain subject to applicable law and platform rules. These Terms do not establish that a game is lawful in every jurisdiction or authorize prohibited gambling. Material changes affecting paid purchases will be explained and handled consistently with mandatory rights and outstanding delivery obligations.

Applicable mandatory laws and consumer protections continue to apply regardless of where our volunteers are located. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. If it remains unresolved, you retain any right provided by applicable law to approach a court, regulator, or payment provider. Mediation or arbitration may be used if both parties agree on the provider, procedure, and costs; these Terms do not require you to waive mandatory remedies.

Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, mandatory consumer rights, or remedies for purchases that were not delivered or did not meet applicable legal requirements.

Where lawful, liability for other claims is limited to the amount you paid Worldwide in the three months preceding the claim, and excludes indirect or consequential loss. This limit does not apply where applicable law requires otherwise.

This policy applies to virtual currency, virtual shop items, and other digital goods purchased through the Platform ("Virtual Items").

1. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights, remedies for defective or undelivered purchases, or rights available through your payment provider. Subject to those rights and the exceptions below, we do not ordinarily provide discretionary refunds for a change of mind after the described Virtual Items have been delivered.
2. Immediate digital delivery does not automatically remove every cancellation right. Where applicable law permits a withdrawal right to end when delivery begins, the required express request, acknowledgment, and confirmation must be obtained. A general acceptance of these Terms is not a substitute for those requirements.
3. Technical or billing errors: report duplicate charges, failed delivery, or incorrect fulfillment promptly, preferably within seven days, with your order ID. This requested reporting period does not shorten a statutory or payment-provider deadline. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include corrected delivery or a refund.
4. Unauthorized purchases: contact us and your payment provider promptly. We may ask for reasonable verification and steps to secure a compromised account, without removing rights or remedies provided by law or your payment provider.
5. Ordinary, correctly functioning game outcomes—including documented losses, spending, taxes, or robbery—do not ordinarily qualify for a discretionary refund. This does not exclude remedies for faulty functionality, misleading descriptions, or other failures covered by applicable law.
6. Payment disputes: contacting us first can help resolve an issue, but it is not a condition of exercising statutory or payment-provider rights. We may temporarily restrict disputed credits or affected transactions while investigating fraud, duplicate reimbursement, or account compromise. A legitimate dispute alone is not grounds for punishment.
7. Approved refunds are normally initiated within seven business days, or sooner where legally required, through the original payment method where supported. Arrival times depend on the provider. Lawful refunds correct purchases; they are not a facility for cashing out game winnings.
